General Infomation;
This Temple was originally a villa bought and donated by the nobleman siriwardhana at the Agalawatta Walawwa in Agalawatta and converted into a temple by venerable Diyapattugama Wachissara thero in the British colonial period by 1800.

So that it is called Sriwardhanaramaya or Siriwardhanaramaya situated in Kollupitiya (or as old name 'Albat Kotuwa Pansala' ) near the Bambalapitiya juction.

What We do

we have launched a Mentally rich Dhamma education course for edults in which consist of practical Buddhism (tipitaka) with psychology in sight, Meditation and AbhiDhamma.
